We go through the evolution of the AI field, how did it all begin and what is the historical connection to neuroscience. We cover the inspiration that leads to different types of architectures such as CNN and RNN.By examining the similarities between the human visual cortex and CNN architecture, we see why and how deep learning should be common knowledge to every human being. Eventually, we enjoy some state of the art implementations, such as image classification training in the browser in a matter of seconds and more.

Attention in DNN - inspired by the brain
Though the ANNs are very powerful, they still have their limitations, a popular component which is cross-domain is the attention mechanisms, the implementation of attention in ANN is relatively new and many researches showed that it is a powerful addition to the performances of the ANNs. Though there are still a lot to discover, the potential in this kind of techniques is clear.Attention mechanism is just one example to the power of the biological secrets, thus, the general takeaway from this work is to continue the dual and mutual research, the biological and technical fields are feeding and contributing each other, the unity is important and as the history have showed to us, it will probably continue to lead us to better inventions.

Hi, my name is Ron Weiner.
Iโm a visionary AI researcher, help companies to build their products and to fulfill the AI potential in their business.
This way the solutions can be created faster, wiser, with a better quality so it can serve their KPIs on the optimal way.
My passion is to help people transform their dreams into a working AI-based solution.
Working with data in the past 10 years, started my path at 8200 at the data infrastructures department, while continuously seeking for elegant ways to create automatic reasoning, I've explored the field of the semantic web over big data framework, improved my data management and my coding skills.
In 2015 I've discovered the deep & machine learning field and I felt in love, since then I enjoyed working on video, image and natural language processing, some of it was for a medical company so it had its own flavor.
Simultaneously, I've completed a bachelor's degree in "Cognitive & Computer Science" at the Open University of Israel.
Along my personal technical development, on most of my roles I lead some technical team, from 1-15 people, juniors, seniors and experts (I believe that is also a great way to learn from others ^_^).
I love working with people, I love to learn from others and also to share my experience, therefore, since 2017 I started lecturing and tutoring data analysis, machine and deep learning.
Nowadays, I enjoy using my vast and versatile experience to help businesses and entrepreneurs to create and grow their products and company with AI & Data-driven approach.
Some call it AI researcher, some ML researcher, some data scientist, some data wizard, put the names aside, open mind and hard work are the things we all need.
Nature is build of mathematical rules, therefore the answer is out there... To find the answer all we need to do is to use the right lens.
